The Day-to-Day
As a Senior Behavioural Researcher, you will spearhead end-to-end research projects, guiding them from inception to insightful conclusion. Your day will involve:
- Leading Research Projects: Design and execute advanced research studies, combining behavioural science and neuroscience theories with robust statistical methods.
- Project Management: Oversee a team of behavioural scientists, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of research projects.
- Client Engagement: Identify client needs, design tailored research proposals, and present findings in a clear, compelling manner.
- Insight Generation: Translate complex data into actionable insights that drive business outcomes.
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Educational Contribution: Deliver the Implicit Research module as part of the Cowry Academy programme, sharing your expertise with the next generation of researchers.

The Ideal Candidate
You’re an experienced researcher with a deep understanding of behavioural science and a knack for turning data into impactful strategies. You bring:
- Educational Background: A Master’s degree in psychology, behavioural science, neuroscience, data science, or a related field, or 2+ years of experience in leading quantitative research.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in advanced experimental design and statistical methods.
- Client-Focused Approach: Strong ability to identify and translate client needs into effective research projects.
- Business Acumen: Experience in behavioural science, people strategy, or people analytics in a business context.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex insights clearly.
- Project Management: Strong project management skills with great attention to detail.
- Team Player: Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a high-performing team.
Desirable skills include knowledge of implicit research techniques, experience with statistical packages like SPSS or R, and a background in experimental psychology.
