About The Role
As a Business Development Director, you’ll be the face of their unique proposition, leveraging your expertise to connect with brand marketeers and industry leaders.
You’ll bring a strategic approach to sales, building relationships with potential clients, listening to their challenges, and identifying opportunities where their insights can make a difference.
From engaging in consultative dialogues to helping define their go-to-market approach, you’ll be a key driver in their expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement: Proactively connect with brands, retailers, and media clients. Understand their challenges and position the agency’s proposition as the perfect solution.
- Strategic Sales: Use your expertise to identify opportunities within research budgets and tailor services to meet client needs, leveraging data and econometrics capabilities.
- Lead Generation: Develop a pipeline of prospective clients by reaching out to new contacts and nurturing existing relationships, generating sustainable growth without rigid sales targets.

This client is looking for:
- Business Development: You have 10+ years’ experience in a business development or sales-focused role, ideally within a research or media agency, and a proven track record of building client relationships.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of data, analytics, and econometrics, with an ability to discuss complex insights and methodologies with authority and clarity.
- Client-Centric Communication: Skilled in listening to client challenges, you have a consultative approach to sales and can identify where insights tools fit into broader brand strategies.
- Drive: Self-motivated and goal-oriented, you’re excited to drive growth.
